The A5000 is a modular panel meter system with a selection of input and output cards to suit your application. Choose from 18 different input modules (this page shows  for AC, DC, Voltage and current and resistance. (Others -, temperature, frequency, and strain gage inputs. Select from 7 different output options, none, Hi/Lo set point, analog, RS232, RS485, or a combination. The multidisplay shows the reading and the set points but you can still use set points with single display - its just more convenient with the multiple display.
