This refractometer has exclusive scale for specific gravity of battery fluid and for knowing freezing temperature of ethylene glycol and propylene glycol that are used as antifreeze mixture for automobiles or thermal catalyst for solar power systems.
The scale of the model BC-2E is graduated in Centigrade while that of the model BC-3E is in Farenheit.
