|
These baffles are designed for use with pipes and large tubes to contain and distribute the purge gas in the region of the weld root. There are two baffles, each with triple sealing lips and joined with a flexible connector. The dams are placed so as to straddle the joint. Purge gas is fed via a hose to one end and is distributed through a diffuser on the first dam. The purged air exhausts through a bleed in the opposite dam. The hose is suppied with a quick coupling for ease of use.
