Salt Meter - Cardy Description
|
The Cardy uses a sodium ion electrode to produce accurate salt measurements regardless of the sample pH or the presence of other ions. The result is automatically temperature compensated and converted to salt content (wt% NaCl). The Cardy is easy to use - you can place a drop of sample liquid or a small piece of sample directly on the flat detection surface. You can also use sampling sheets to wipe a surface and then place the sheet on the detector.
The instrument is supplied with fitted case containing the Cardy and the supplies you need to start making measurements.
Measurement method : Sodium ion electrode.
Measurement range : 0.01 to 10.0%(g/100g) of salt concentration .
Resolution : 0.01% for salt concentration of 0.00 to 0.99%.
1% for salt concentration of 10.0 to 25.0% .
Calibration : 2 point calibration by STD/SLOPE volumes using standard calibration solutions .
Temperature compensation : Automatic temperature compensation in a range from +5 to 35°C
This is a very tiny instrument no bigger than an audio cassette, ideal for lab and personal use.
