TV400- Maxi 20cm dual plate Description
|
The 20.5 x 20 cm vertical electrophoresis unit can run two gels or commercially available cassettes for the separation of nucleic acids or proteins. The unit uses the large buffer volume in the bottom tank to act as a coolant. The running buffer can be pre-chilled prior to electrophoresis or additional cooling can be achieved by using the optional super cooling block, which has high throughput hose connectors allowing connection to a circulating water bath. The base unit is designed for precast gels. The optional Y kit includes float glass plates with bonded spacers and combs. Gelscan be poured directly into the gel running frame which connects them to the top buffer tank. A guaranteed leak proof seal is obtained with a unique soft ribbed double sealing gasket. (the heart of this new TV range). The complete gel assembly is then placed in the buffer tank.
